In the Mood for a Home Brew

In just a few days I'll be off to my typical antics, hitchhiking across the country more or less towards san diego in casual fashion. Tomorrow, though, I'll be tasting some homemade beer I've been looking forward to for the past month. We (Mark and I) bottled it 2 or 3 weeks ago and now it's ready, so the superbowl is when we're popping it all open with some friends.

I've been looking at the map thinking about interesting spots to stop along the way to San Diego, that's where Mark and Sean will be visiting in late February. I sent out some couch requests to people along the way, although there's plenty of routes to take and as the road has shown me before, you never know where you're gonna end up and with who, and doing what.

Either way, here's the places I may stay based on some cool people who have some couch space in case the road leads me their way:

Washington, DC
Charleston, WV
Louisville, KY
Nashville, TN
Dallas, TX
Denton, TX
El Paso, TX
Phoenix, AZ

I'm also considering Memphis, Little Rock, OKC, Albuquerque and Tucson. I usually dart by all these cities, catching rides straight through or having breif layovers on a Greyhound bus, I once ate at a Waffle House in Nashville hitching through with Heather (aweomse girl from New Orleans).

I've had plenty of time to ponder the open road, my site Trip Hopping has been down for a couple days due to lack of payment on the server, we're hoping to have that taken care of in the following days, it's picked up some traction in the past month and I already miss it.
